DENVER - Greenwood Village-based eBags (www.eBags.com) announced that Vince Jones has been appointed the new chief executive officer and has joined the company's board of directors.

Jones joins eBags from Sharpcast (www.sharpcast.com), where he served as Vice President of Operations and Finance, leading all business operations for the maker of the award-winning SugarSync online back-up and storage, syncing and file sharing service.

Prior to Sharpcast, Jones was a member of the Walmart.com launch team and as a Senior Director helped build the company into a leading e-commerce business. Previously he held operations and finance roles at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) and Texas Instruments.
